2016 – Macquarie Culvert – Parramatta Park

“This is a wonderful project putting together surviving remnants with some new ones to recreate a hidden feature from the Macquarie era of the World Heritage listed Parramatta Park – a sandstone culvert. A great example of a relatively small project with substantial challenges that brought together many disciplines to ensure its success” – from the National Trust’s web site.

Adaptive Reuse Award – Sydney Observatory East Dome

The East Dome is a new working observatory building on the site of an earlier domed structure at Sydney Observatory incorporating the dome and drive mechanisms from that earlier structure.

Research and Investigation – The Cockatoo Island Solitary Confinement Cells & Cookhouse

The excavation, conservation, reconstruction and interpretation of the Cockatoo Island solitary confinement cells and cookhouse.

Adaptive Reuse Award – George Street Gate House, Parramatta Park  (Highly Commended)

The conservation and adaptation of the 1885 George Street Gatehouse (also known as the Tudor Gate Lodge) revitalises the formal entrance to Parramatta Park from O’Connell Street. Along with a new cafe pavilion, the project breathes new life to the Park, and grants public access to the interior.

2014 – ASHA Awards

The Judy Birmingham Award for Best Historical Archaeology Consulting Report given for the Archaeological Investigation – Darling Quarter.

2014 – Premier Awards

Certificate of Appreciation from the Premier of NSW for our contribution to the redevelopment of the Conservatorium of Music.

2012 – ASHA Awards

The Judy Birmingham Award for Best Historical Archaeology Heritage Report given for the Archaeological Investigation -710-722 George Street, Haymarket.

An award of merit in the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award for Culture Heritage Conservation 2002 for our contribution to the archaeological and heritage work at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

Winner of the inaugural Parramatta City Council Heritage Award 2003 for research, education and promotion, for the archaeological excavation on the corner of George & Charles Streets, Parramatta for Meriton Apartments.
