OVERVIEW

Casey & Lowe are a leading archaeological and heritage company. We are a specialised, highly skilled team working in historical archaeology and heritage, focusing on best practice methodologies and quality outcomes.

We are based in the inner-west of Sydney, Australia. Our research extends across greater Sydney as well as rural and regional NSW.

WHAT WE DO

With 25 years experience delivering state significant projects, we work closely with our clients to provide sound advice and recommend appropriate strategies to manage project risks. We provide and complete archaeological programs and reporting in a timely manner including providing successful outcomes in the form of Section 140, Section 160 and Exceptions S139(4) approvals.

While we do deliver state significant projects, we do not undertake Indigenous heritage projects.  We work with a number of specialist consultants in this area whom we can recommend or co-ordinate with or project manage as part of a larger team.

MARY CASEY, Principal Director

With over 30 years of experience, Dr Mary Casey has extensive knowledge of heritage and archaeological issues in the development industry and has published widely. Mary is an expert on the archaeology of Parramatta and has worked in the development and implementation of best practice reporting on a range of heritage and archaeology projects.

TONY LOWE, Principal Director

Tony has worked as a heritage consultant since 1989 and has vast experience of many kinds of archaeological sites, including graves and cemeteries, and major civil projects, including the North West Rail Link, and other infrastructure projects. As part of the Australian Air Force Tony has worked on the recovery of human remains from a number of countries.
